Front door entry gate

This gate adds an elegant and sturdy accent this home. The 4'x7' steel door is identical to the main entry door, and the faux window matches the proportions of the home's windows, adding architectural continuity to the exterior. Built from custom-made rectangular tube, the door frame mounts securely into the existing concrete retaining wall with hidden fasteners. The design was a collaboration between Yzzo Studios, the homeowner, and their landscape designer.

Berkeley carport gate

This update to a mid-century modern Berkeley carport provides security and style to a previously overlooked part of the house. This project was a collaboration between Yzzo Studios and Alward Construction of Berkeley. Crafted from tube steel and crimped-wire mesh, this enclosure consists of a series of infill panels, a car gate, and a pedestrian gate. All pieces were custom made and then then hot-dipped galvanized.
